How to Deal 100 Damage or More With One Bullet in Fortnite
Players will need to deal 100 damage or more for a new Fortnite challenge. Every week, a new set of challenges are released that will substantially level up the player's Battle Pass upon completion. With Doctor Strange being the tier 100 skin, many are eager to reach this level and unlock the Sorceror Supreme. The best way to do that has been to clear out these challenges as quickly as possible. In week 6 of chapter 3 season 2, players will need to deal 100 damage with a single bullet. Most weapons in the game are unable to produce this kind of damage. Although, a small handful can get the job done and reward players with that juicy XP.
The best weapon of choice for this challenge will be one of the many Fortnite Sniper Rifles around the field. Snipers and a handful of Shotguns are capable of doing this kind of damage, but it all depends on where the player aims. For example, landing a headshot will do substantially more damage than a body shot. It's important to mention that the higher rarity of the weapon, the more damage it will do. Although, there are challenges that come with finding a Sniper Rifle and properly using it to land damage. They are incredibly difficult to aim with, making this one of the more challenging quests of the week.
To complete this Fortnite chapter 3 season 2 challenge, it's recommended for players to land in the Foundation with the Sanctuary. Here, players can purchase the Storm Scout Exotic Weapon for gold, it does a ton of damage and can be purchased right outside of the gate. This weapon also has the capability to track the next storm circle. When aiming, a small logo will appear on the map to show where the storm will relocate. After collecting the Storm Scout, it's time to use it to clear this challenge.
It's important to mention that players don't actually have to damage other players with a single bullet. This challenge can also be completed by interacting with a variety of NPCs around the map. For this quest, head over to Command Cavern or to the Fortress. These are locations where IO Guards can be found in groups. Since they standstill for the most part, unless they are bothered, they are the perfect targets for landing an accurate headshot.
Use the Storm Scout and aim directly for one of the IO Guards' skulls. Once it connects, the challenge will be completed and players will earn 20,000 XP towards their Battle Pass. Although, this will quickly garner the attention of the IO Guards. Fortunately, weekly quests are not removed from the game until the end of the season. They have been the main method of grinding for levels for several seasons at this point. Dealing 100 damage with a single bullet is just one of the many available.
Fortnite is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
