I pay £900-a-month for a flat in London and have to sleep next to my kitchen sink – you couldn’t swing a cat inside

A FUMING renter has revealed what £900-a-month gets him in London – and it will leave you absolutely gobsmacked.

TikTok user lewbangsweights shared a video of his so-called ‘flat’ which he said is so small “you couldn’t swing a f****** cat” in it.

In the depressing house tour, the devastated bloke reveals how he is forced to tuck down each night in a single bed only inches from his kitchen sink.

Next to that the down-on-his-luck lad – who brands the “shocking” room as a “joke” – shows a TV perched on a tiny stand.

Spinning the camera around, he reveals he has put up with the extortionately priced room for “eight months”.

He then shows a bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink barely inches apart.

He slams: “And that is my bathroom, you’re joking.”

And to add insult to injury, the furious renter says the room is in fact one of five rooms in a house turned into pricey flats.

The room comes complete with a shoddy lamp on a stand and an open wardrobe.

The video – which has now been viewed almost 245,000 times and received over 5100 likes – sparked a flurry of responses online.

One TikTok user could not believe their eyes, commenting: “There needs to be a law against landlords, people are so greedy.

“It’s not right.”

Another hammered: “I would be moving, no chance I’d live like that for 900pcm.”

While one attempted to reason with the man’s plight, saying: “It’s small but unfortunately I’ve seen people living a lot worse, wont be forever never know what’s round the corner for you.”

Others noted what the unlucky lad could get for far less cash elsewhere.

They said: “3 bed new build driveway garage… front and back garden… 750 a month in Lancashire.”

While others were quick to offer some advice, with one saying: “Just an idea… don’t live in London

While one stressed: “People say move elsewhere.

“Isn’t that easy for people to just up and leave everything they know behind.”
