Over 1,000 buildings damaged by Kansas tornado, 165 mph winds
KANSAS CITY, Kansas: A tornado that struck south-central Kansas last week generated winds of winds up to 165 mph and damaged more than 1,000 buildings, carving a path of destruction some 13 miles long.
