I got my lips tattooed but I wasn’t expecting my results – trolls say I look like Miranda Sings
BEAUTY trends have taken a permanent turn as of late with microblading, eyeliner tattoos, and now lip blushing.
As it would turn out, lip blushing, a semi-permanent tattoo that gives your lips a permanent color, doesn’t come without risk.
One young woman learned that lesson the hard way.
A medical student named Sabrina posted a video of her lips after she had them tattooed with the caption: “NO ONE TOLD ME IT WOULD LOOK LIKE THIS.”
Sabrina also wrote in the video: “When you have clinical skills the day after you get your lips tattooed.”
She pretended to have a conversation with a patient about their diagnosis and was told to take off her mask.
Sabrina then revealed her swollen, bright-red lips.
In the comment section, people couldn’t help but compare her to the YouTube personality, Miranda Sings.
In fact, over 47,000 people liked a comment that read: “It’s giving Miranda Sings.”
Others were shocked at Sabrina’s tattoo, like one who wrote: “I was not expecting that omg.”

Another person wrote: “Girl I gasped,” while someone else added: “No no I’m crying.”
Sabrina posted a separate video detailing the healing process of her lip blush tattoo.
Immediately after her tattoo, her lips turned bright red and within hours they formed scabs and became swollen.
In the following days, her lips remained red, swollen, and scabbed until about the third day after her tattoo and her lips started to show signs of healing.
Thankfully, though, Sabrina’s lips had turned a pretty pale pink shade with no swelling by the sixth day after her tattoo.
“So I’m realizing that I had an allergic reaction and I’m not surprised cause I have eczema and I just have an overreactive immune system in general,” she explained in a subsequent video.
Sabrina then stressed the importance of following aftercare steps and said: “I think with these things you can’t really predict what your reactions going to be, so you kind of just have to do it and not know.”
Sabrina isn’t the only one to have a reaction to a lip blush tattoo.
