Dave Chappelle attack LIVE – Netflix comedian ‘tackled’ by attack suspect Isaiah Lee at comedy festival with Chris Rock

DAVE Chappelle was tackled on stage during his stand-up routine at the Netflix is Joke Festival, according to witnesses.

Cops confirmed they arrested a man, Isaiah Lee, 23, who was armed with a knife in a replica handgun at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. He is being charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon.

Footage from the incident quickly spread across social media and appears to show the moment a person in the crowd rushed onto the stage.

The alleged attacker tried to tackle Chappelle, 48, who moved to the side.

In footage shared on TikTok and Instagram by @rebhorndesign founder Sean Azari, fellow comedian Chris Rock, who performed in the comedy festival earlier in the night, is seen walking toward the center of the stage before joking: “Was that Will Smith?“
