The episode begins with Leela taunting Anupamaa. She asks how she could go on a date despite being old. Anupamaa replies that there isn't any age barrier to go on a date. She says that she completed all the household chores. She then asks Leela to spend some time with Hasmukh.Kanta arrives at the Shahs' house. Leela asks her why she came early to her house. Kanta replies that she stayed for the entire night. Leela gets shocked. Kanta tells Leela that it's normal to stay in the in-laws house and advises her to go to Dolly's house. Leela gets angry.
