I’m a mom to a baby and I’m trolled for my filthy house – but it’s not what people think

WHEN you post your life as a mom on social media, people feel like it gives them a reason to question your parenting skills.

However, one mom is not letting that affect her as she has been poking fun at the mom-shamers who can’t stay out of her business.

Alexa Perce has risen to fame on social media as she shares her life as both a painter and stay-at-home mom.

And, as any artist might know, painting is not the cleanest and tidiest job out there.

So it’s no surprise that the carpet, furniture, and even walls in Perce’s studio aren’t as neat as can be.

Despite this, many people have taken to her channel to slam her for how “filthy” it is.

In fact, many hide their criticism as concern for her daughter.

“Why don’t grab a vacuum instead of a camera and broomstick?” one person asked.

“Filthy living with a little one crawling around.”

However, as Perce tried to vacuum her studio after the person suggested it, people could see that it wasn’t picking up anything.

“It’s not working!” she expressed in frustration as she tried to vacuum the paint off her carpet and her child watched on happily.

In another instance, a person told the mom: “Ew that carpet! Get the poor child off it.”

Perce responded by shooting a video of both her and her child lying side-by-side on the carpet.

“Get this child off of this carpet? I think you’re okay, right? Okay!” she responded in a sarcastic tone.

And when a third said they “wouldn’t let my dog lie on that rug” and that they “can’t imagine what the rest of the place looks like,” she said: “It’s pure filth!”

Fortunately, many more defended the mom of one, slamming mom-shamers.

“Why are people still on this? You are a great mom and very talented,” one person wrote.

“That’s called a home lived in with love,” a second chimed in.

And a third sarcastically said: “She looks like she’s in soo much danger!”
