RUNNING out of Swiffer Wet Jet liquid halfway through cleaning your home can be the most annoying thing ever.
However, a cleaning pro has revealed her simple hack to make sure your floors are always squeaky clean without spending too much money.
Taking to social media, Myka Wise explained what the Swiffer Wet Jet Hack is and people are raving.
After your Wet Jet solution has run out, you’ll want to boil the cap for a few minutes. This will make it so that the cap pops right off and you can refill it with your cleaner of choice.
“Add your own solution, but I’m using powdered Tide, Fabuloso, and water,” Wise explained.
This is a popular concoction that a lot of TikTok fans use to clean their floors.

Once your bottle has been filled, pop it back into your Swiffer Jet and get to work.
“This will save you money and my mopping solution is much better,” she concluded, continuing to mop the rest of the floor.
Many people actually swore by this hack, refusing to purchase any more Swiffer solution.
One person wrote: “I tried this and it worked wonderfully!”

Danielle Christina, who goes by Mom That Loves to Clean on social media, shared in a video that she much prefers the double-dunk system compared to the two-bucket one.

The two-bucket system is when you have one bucket with cleaning solution and water and a second one with just clean water.
With this method, you will dump your mop in the one with the solution, clean the floor, and then do it again with just plain water.
However, she claimed that with this method, you can never get enough water in your mop, which means it won’t clean as efficiently.
Instead, the double-dunk system works “much better.”

“I dump it in the clean water [bucket] and then in the [bucket with the] solution, mop, and repeat,” she explained.
“Look how clean and shiny it leaves my floors and check out all that dirty water at the bottom of the bucket.”
