Wayne Rooney snapped using shoelaces to stop suit trousers falling down
WAYNE Rooney made sure his trousers avoid Derby’s fate and stay up — with shoelaces.
The football boss, 36, posed for photos at his team’s awards do in a pair of slacks tied unconventionally at the waist.
A fan of the club, relegated to League One, said: “Wayne was in a brilliant mood and spent loads of time with the supporters.
“But every time he posed for a picture, this thing that looked like a shoelace popped out.
“It’s probably a part of the suit, but did look a bit like it was holding his trousers up.”
The ex-Man United, Everton and England star’s outfit seems to be the one he wore when inducted in the Premier League Hall of Fame last month.

He has admitted his weight gain has left him with just one suit which fits.
But wife Coleen, 36, defended his diet, saying: “His favourite food is lettuce.”
“He loves salad.”
