• Police responded to a two-vehicle crash March 12 at Carns Equipment in Clearfield. According to police, it occurred as a driver backed their vehicle from its parked position, striking another vehicle and crashing through the garage door. Damage was reported to the showroom floor; alcohol was also determined to be a factor in the crash. The driver was taken to Penn Highlands Clearfield for a legal blood draw. Charges have since been filed through the district court.
