The leak of Justice Samuel Alito’s draft opinion, which would throw out decades-old abortion rights established by Roe vs. Wade, has tossed the nation into turmoil. As drafted, the opinion would lead to abortion bans in roughly half the states and throw into doubt the hard-fought right to abortion in other states, as well.
