Disney reports strong second quarter results

LOS ANGELES, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The Walt Disney Company reported Wednesday a revenue of 19.25 billion U.S. dollars for its second fiscal quarter of 2022, up 23 percent from the same period last year.

The U.S. entertainment giant also reported a net profit of 470 million in the quarter, down 48 percent from a year ago.

The company's family-friendly streaming service, Disney+, added 7.9 million subscribers
