Among the four listing candidates, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the worst hit. Its shares are exchanging hands at a discount of Rs 25 in the unofficial market against its issue price of Rs 949. A less than expected response from investors despite pricing the IPO conservatively is hurting the premium for LIC shares.
