Twins reinstate OF Kyle Garlick from injured list

The Minnesota Twins reinstated Kyle Garlick from the injured list and optioned fellow outfielder Mark Contreras to Triple-A St. Paul on Monday.

Garlick missed the Twins' last 13 games with a right calf strain. He played in two rehab games at St. Paul and had a double and a homer with two RBIs.

Garlick, 30, is batting .238 with three home runs and six RBIs in 13 games this year. He is a lifetime .226 hitter with 11 homer
