I worked at Target – you NEED to visit guest services when you shop there for extra items
WHEN it comes to running errands, some grocery stores and department stores are considered way better than others.
Target is one of the most enjoyable places to shop, and a former employee has just revealed one of their most interesting company secrets.
A TikToker by the name of Mindy Jackson, a.k.a. @5thAndWest, stitched a video revealing a company secret from Target since she no longer works for the company.
She explained that buying items from Target.com is actually a lot different than buying items from the shelves inside the stores.
If you realize you’re unhappy with an online purchase from Target’s website, you can still return the item in person at your nearest local Target location.
Target workers have to honor your return with a refund, even though you didn’t purchase the product directly from their shelves.
Since online items aren’t part of most Target stores’ usual inventory, Target is forced to knock down the retail values by up to 75%.
This is extremely good news for people who love shopping on a budget.

This is also exciting news for anyone who loves finding out about discounts that allow them to save as much money as possible.
All you have to do to cash out on this awesome deal is visit guest services and ask if they have any online returns you can sift through.
Odds are, you’ll be able to find an item or two that piques your interest.
Mindy further explained that she bought a plate ware set for her sister that was originally worth about $100.
She was able to take home the gift for about $20 using this money-saving hack.
A commenter asked about where these special discounted items can be found, and Mindy answered saying: “They’re at guest services until soft lines or whatever department comes to get them [puts] them on endcaps, yes. But you can still check [guest services] first!”
A user named @ThaRealJanette corroborated Mindy’s claims writing: “This is true. I worked at target for seven years.”
Another TikToker wrote, “Kohls does this too except at our store, we would just put it in clearance for each department.”

Mindy did mention the fact that Target guest service employees get first dibs on online return items.
Even though Target workers lay eyes on all discounted items first, there’s still a chance you’ll be able to pick through an interesting selection on your next Target run.
