The recent downtrend in steel scrap import prices in India and Pakistan was extended in the week to Friday May 20, with prices tracking recent losses into key world buyer Turkey, although Turkish buyers have lately resumed buying at fractionally higher prices that may support Asian markets in the near term, according to trade sources.
