Lockdown lifted at Round Rock High School

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — Round Rock High School was placed on a "brief" lockdown Friday afternoon out of an abundance of caution, the district's Twitter account said.

According to a letter from the school's principal, Round Rock ISD police investigated a potential threat in a nearby neighborhood.

The letter said police didn't find a threat to the campus and the lockdown was lifted "shortly after."
