Germany and Italy allow companies to open rouble accounts to pay for gas
According to Reuters, Berlin has notified German gas importers of this possibility on the condition that payments to Russia’s Gazprombank will be made in foreign currency.
Earlier, it was reported that Gazprom Export today halted gas supplies to Finland because the Finnish company failed to pay for the gas supplied in April and refused to make payments in rubles.
