CPM state secretary K Balakrishnan on Sunday urged the Union government to remove the cess on petrol and diesel.Speaking to reporters after inaugurating a library in memory of former MLA K Thangavelu here, the CPM leader said slashing excise duty on petrol and diesel is not enough.
