Residents of Sector 9A have alleged that vacant plots in the area have become dumpsites as the civic body is not taking initiative to clear municipal and construction waste being dumped there illegally. They also said there is an overgrowth of congress grass on these vacant plots, which provide a breeding ground for rodents, insects and snakes.
