Deputy commissioners of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi have issued orders banning removal of sand bars from Coastal Regulation Zones (CRZ) of the district.The order comes in the backdrop of the directions from the National Green Tribunal (NGT), Southern Zone, Chennai.
