Monkeypox spreads to more countries, cases now reported in Israel, Switzerland and Austria

The monkeypox virus has so far been detected in as many as 15 countries. The outbreaks are raising alarm because the viral disease mostly occurs in the west and central Africa, and only very occasionally spreads elsewhere.
