The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Akshara apologising to Abhimanyu for starting the party without him as guests had started arriving. She explained that he did not miss much and gestured to bring in a cake. That cake reminded Abhimanyu and Manjiri of bad memories. When Mr. and Mrs. Poddar, their new investor in business, comes up to the couple to wish them happy anniversary and asks Harshvardhan to introduce his wife.
