We rate best supermarket jubilee biscuit tins – and you’ll never guess which is cheapest

THERE’S little that says royal occasion more than a good British tin of biscuits — and bakers have done us proud with this selection of commemorative tins for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

But which souvenir biscuits are fit for a royal occasion? Laura Stott put them to the test.

A costly option, and one which is worth the money
SUPPLIED

GINGERBREAD biscuits, wearing full guard regalia. Look too good to eat.

Pricey, but taste as good as they look.

ROYAL COLLECTION SHORTBREAD: £6.95

A budget choice that looks like it should be more expensive

RICH, buttery biscuits taste delicious.

Gold storage tube looks gorgeous and can be reused. Surprisingly affordable.
