I’m an Airbnb host and ‘Norman Bates’ guest trashed my apartment and left blood on the walls in six-month stay
AN Airbnb host’s nightmare guest left her apartment with blood covered walls, earning comparisons to the serial killer from Alfred HItchcock’s Psycho.
The host is asking the rental company for help cleaning up after the departure of a guest she has dubbed “Norman Bates” due to the horrifying scene found in the rental following a six-month stay.
The TikTok video posted by Jazmin Jones features footage showing the state of the apartment, with a caption that says “@airbnb y’all better help us clean up after Norman Bates…”
Text across the screen of the video reads “POV: you come home to the realization that your Airbnb guest was a literal demon…”
In the video, viewers can see bags of trash and old takeout strewn across the floor and piles of sheets and pillows pulled off the bed.
As the TikTok user zooms in closer, massive stains that appear to be blood can be seen on the bed linens piled on the floor.
The bathroom can be seen covered in toiletry products and makeup spilled on the sink, along with a kitchen piled with dirty dishes.
Then Jones shows a shot with some sort of dried dark red or brown liquid smeared and dripping from a white wall, which she refers to as blood.

She then realized the apartment was also infested with mice and finally decided to call it quits on trying to settle back into her apartment after time away.
The video flashes to Jones and a friend sitting outside the apartment building.
“And you spend your birthday weekend tryna figure out how to hire hazard cleaners, get your deposit, and find lodging in a housing crisis,” the video caption reads.

In an update in the comment section, Jones says she is trying to sue to get the deposit, but first she has to itemize the damage and file a police report.
