Love Island’s secrets of the new series revealed with XXL beds, midnight snack and sexier-than-ever Hideaway
LOVE Island bosses have spilled the beans on some of the juiciest secrets ahead of the new series.
ITV2 viewers won’t need to wait long for their favourite dating show to return – but before we watch a group of hot singletons flirt their way through summer, there are a number of changes that will leave fans surprised.
Each year, contestants get cosy in the villa bedroom, with plenty of bed hopping and cheeky spooning.
But this season, the hopefuls will be treated to spacious XXL beds for the contestants to enjoy maximum bedroom comfort.
Love Island executive producer Mike Spencer said: “I think they were, they were always a single but now they’re a double.”
Discussing shenanigans in the bedroom, he laughed: “No, we’re absolutely not, we don’t discourage or encourage.

“It’s down to the individuals.”
Speaking about whether the new beds are friendly for bedroom antics, he added: “There’s quite a hard edge.”
Love Island fans have always been intrigued about what the Islanders eat, despite rarely seeing them cook.
And now, Mike has revealed that the contestants can enjoy a midnight snack with a kitchen packed with treats.

“The fridge is always stocked with things like chicken and pasta so sometimes they might randomly cook themselves a pasta during the day,” he told us.
“They’ve got toast, they’ve got snacks, they’ve got ice lollies.
“They make their own breakfasts, they’ve got fruit and yoghurt and eggs
“Lunch and dinner are catered its quite a lot, catered for everyone, everyone’s particular dietary requirements. Its quite a lot of food.
“Usually about midnight there’s a midnight snack – but anything they want food wise they can have.”
When the singletons want a little more privacy they usually escape to the hideaway and this year is no exception.
In fact, the hideaway will be sexier-than-ever with a revamped pink room.
He revealed: “Hot tub you can expect.
“Very bold pink luxurious vibe, sexy vibe.
“And there will be a drawer of fun. With some bits and bobs. Some fun, a fun drawer, a sexy bits drawer.”
