A lot of people might not know about Target’s rain check sale policy, but it’s something everyone should be taking advantage of.

If you hear about an item you’re interested in going on sale at Target, you might want to hop in your car to purchase that item immediately.

If you take too long, sales items at Target will often sell out pretty quickly.

It’s not the end of the world if a sales item is out of stock at Target though.

All you have to do is let a cashier know what you’re interested in is out of stock and ask about a rain check.

As soon as the item becomes available in stores again within the next 30 to 45 days, you’ll be able to cash in on that rain check.

This means you can still buy the item at the sales price, whether or not the sale is still going on.

Sales items are more likely to disappear faster, which means Target’s decision to allow rain checking is a very big deal.

Show Target employees an item for sale at a competitor store for less money, and they’ll match the price for you.

One of the best things about Target is that they even match their own online prices.

If you find an incredible item worth five dollars on Target’s website and see it listed for $5.50 in-store, they will honor the lower online price.
