I wanted a simple bouquet for my bridesmaids & was horrified when I got something completely different – it cost me $960
WEDDINGS rarely proceed without a few bumps in the road.
Whether the bride’s dress isn’t properly steamed, a groomsman gets too drunk, or the appetizers come out a bit too cold – typically, something always goes wrong.
One bride named Morgan Casper, who goes by @morgangcasper on TikTok, said that she dealt with extra stress on her wedding day thanks to a problem with the floral arrangements.
In the clip, she began:
“Let’s talk about the drama with my bridesmaids’ bouquets. Trust me when I tell you that you want to stick around to see the photo of what we got.”
Morgan said she took a modern approach to her bridal party: she let them choose their own dresses and she wasn’t going to have them stand next to her at the altar like they do in traditional ceremonies.
For the flower bouquets, she wanted them to hold something simple.
She looked online for inspiration and found a photo of a few Calla Lily’s held together with a white ribbon.
“I wanted it small, like four of five flowers in each.”
The inspo photos she sent to her planner were delicate, natural, and beautiful.

“The two weeks before the wedding, the florist was like, ‘Do you mind if I play around with doing one flower and I’ll show you what it looks like?’”
Morgan approved of the idea, but unfortunately never got a photo of what the planner was thinking.
“Half way through getting my hair done on my wedding day, I said, ‘Can someone just show me the bouquets?’
“This was the first thing that set off my wedding day with all of the mistakes.”
Morgan revealed a photo of what she got: a lonely, sad looking single Calla Lily, with the unnaturally long stem wrapped in a cheap white paper.
“Look at how long it is! I will never get over it.”
The worst part? They each cost $80; and with 12 bridesmaids the total came out to $960.
Her bridesmaids ended up trimming the stems to make them look a little nicer, but still, it wasn’t what she had hoped for.
Viewers found the results both horrifying and hilarious:
