Oscar-winner Quentin Tarantino is huge fan of Peppa Pig calling show ‘greatest UK import of decade’
FILM director Quentin Tarantino has said he is a massive fan of Peppa Pig.
The American maestro behind Reservoir Dogs called the animated kids’ TV show “the greatest British import of this decade”.
Dad-of-two Quentin, 59, said he watches the cartoon a lot with his two-year-old son Leo.
In an interview with the latest edition of Empire magazine, he said Despicable Me 2 was the first film he showed Leo.
He said it was “a more consuming experience than, say, Peppa Pig”.
But he added: “I actually do like Peppa Pig. I watch it a lot. I’ll say it — Peppa Pig is the greatest British import of this decade.”

And it will not be too long before he watches the show with his new daughter, who was born last week. Her name has not yet been announced.
The praise from Tarantino is rare for Peppa as the pre-school piggie more often than not rubs celebs up the wrong way.
Last year, singer Adele was asked during an online chat if she would consider collaborating with the porky puddle-jumper.
Adele said she had no intention of it. But in a later interview with Capital FM, she was played a message from Peppa asking if she did not like her.

Adele said: “Peppa, I regret it, I regret it. Anytime you want to go in muddy puddles, I’m with you babes.”
And in 2020, US rapper Cardi B said Peppa made her angry because her daughter copies her by jumping in puddles.
