Fresh cases in Tamil Nadu continued to drop marginally on Saturday, when the state recorded 2,671 new cases compared to 2,722 new cases on Friday. Active cases, however, continued to increase. There were 18,842 active cases on Saturday compared to 18,687 active cases on Friday.
