I badly burnt my behind after using mistaking Tesco cleaning wipes for loo roll – it should be labelled more clearly

A TRUCKER has become the butt of jokes for mistaking Tesco toilet cleaning wipes for loo roll and getting a badly-burnt bum.

Leon Gleed, 29, developed a nasty rash on his bottom after using the antibacterial chemical sheets for days.

Girlfriend Sadie Williams, also 29, had left the pack next to the toilet — and burst out laughing when he told her what had happened.

He admits it was a silly mistake but believes the flushable wipes should be labelled more clearly.

Leon, of Cwmbran, South Wales, said: “I had to use Sudocrem down there for a week! It was like the night after a hot curry but ten times worse!”

Tesco said: “We make the labelling on our packaging as clear as possible.”
