About a third of Harman International's total global workforce of 30,000 now works in India, and there's a significant interest within the global audio-electronics leader to do more in the country, said Michael Mauser, president and chief executive officer. Mauser, who succeeded Dinesh Paliwal as CEO in April 2020, claimed that the Harman India team's performance in terms of quality KPI and efficiency makes it simpler to persuade the picky international auto majors to do more business out of India.
