Czech Republic wins European Championship, qualifies with Israel for inaugural WBSC U-23 Men's Softball World Cup
The Czech Republic won the first-ever U-23 Men's Softball European Championship.
The Czechs dominated the final against Denmark, 16-1.
Israel won the bronze medal game against Great Britain, 8-0.
Since Denmark waived the qualification for technical reasons, world No. 5 Czech Republic and No. 19 Israel qualified for the inaugural WBSC U-23 Men's Softball World Cup.
Four other National Teams have already qualified for the event: the hosts and world No. 1 Argentina, No. 4 Australia, No. 8 New Zealand and No. 11 South Africa.
The inaugural WBSC U-23 Men's Softball World Cup is scheduled from 22 to 30 October.
