Whoopi Goldberg’s granddaughter Amarah jokes the View host, 66, is a PORN star during her Claim to Fame show debut
WHOOPI Goldberg’s granddaughter Amarah has joked that the View host is a porn star during her Claim to Fame show debut.
Whoopi, 66, has recently made somewhat of a joke of herself with numerous on-air blunders while hosting The View.
Whoopi Goldberg’s granddaughter Amarah Dean played two truths and a lie during her Claim to Fame show debut[/caption]Amarah Dean’s “joke” occurred during the premiere of the new Hulu series, Claim to Fame, hosted by two Jonas brothers, Kevin, 34, and Frankie Jonas, 21.
As reported by PEOPLE Magazine, Claim to Fame is a series that will see 12 celebrity relatives be challenged by having to “step outside their famous family member’s shadow and live together under one roof”.
The competitors “[conceal] their identity and lineage in the quest for their own fame and fortune.”
Those competing in the TV series will be able to win $100,000 in grand prize money and, in turn, have their own “claim to fame.”

In the clip, Amarah tells the rest of the cast two truths and a lie about her famous relative.
In the game, a player reveals three supposed facts about themselves with one of the trio being false.
The other players must guess as to which of the three statements is the lie.
She first announces that her “famous relative is her grandmother”, then follows up that fact with another truth stating, “she’s best known for being an actor”.

The TV personality then relays her lie, unbeknownst to her fellow contestants, when she states, “her biggest award is an AVN”.
Amarah reveals, “for those of you who don’t know, it’s an adult film award”.
While Whoopi has collected numerous awards throughout her illustrious career, it is true the EGOT winner is unable to showcase an AVN above her mantlepiece.
In a confessional, Amarah explains that “not too many people pay attention to porn star awards and I chose that lie just because I think it’ll throw a lot of people off.”
FORGOTTEN FRIEND
Whoopi was caught forgetting her co-host’s name in an awkward on-air moment during the show’s Bahamas special.
The talk show cast was there to celebrate the program’s 25th anniversary after it first premiered back in 1997.
This latest Whoopi flub is just the most recent on a laundry list of on-air blunders while hosting.
Fresh from a commercial break, Whoopi introduces the episode’s musical guest.
She starts the broadcast’s closing segment by saying, “We’re back with three-time Grammy-winning artist Ne-Yo…”
The Oscar-winner then attempts to pass the hosting duties over to her talk show colleague when she forgets Sunny Hostin’s name.
“And I think…what’s your name?”
Whoopi recovers quickly as she spouts, “Sunny…Sunny has the first question.”
Behind her, another co-host of the Sister Act Actor, Sarah Haines averts her eyes from the on-air gaffe as Sunny picks up the questioning.
Whoopi suffered another on-screen error after a gust of wind sent her cue cards flying during a monologue.
The blunder occurred while the commentator interviewed comedian Chloe Fineman.
After prompting the actress to do celebrity impressions during their tropical getaway, the show host attempted to switch to a commercial break but was interrupted by unruly winds.
“The Father of the Bride is now streaming on HBO Max and season 48 of Saturday Night Live kicks off this Fall,” she told audiences.
“And we of course will be right back,” Whoopi continued, as the breeze hit the table, sending her cue cards skyward.
“Ah snap,” she cursed as the paper hit her coffee mug before cameras cut to commercials.
MUST-WIN WHOOPI
Body language expert Patti Wood told The Sun that the TV star has to “come out on top” in debates as she compared the show to a “version of professional wrestling.”
Whoopi was locked in a debate with guest co-host Tara Setmayer about gun reform in an episode aired following the Uvalde school shooting massacre.
She called for a ban on AR-15 weapons, arguing that assault weapons are “made to kill and destroy bodies,” but Setmayer responded it’s “not that simple.”
Whoopi raged: “It actually is easy. We’ve all met people who have had to deal with the death of a loved one at the hands of a gun.”
Wood said Whoopi’s anger was towards the issue of mass shootings, as well as frustration with those in power.
Wood said she “felt the need to rage louder to be more indignant.’
She added: “Whoopi seems to need to show superior anger and righteousness than the rest of the co-hosts do.
“Whoopi has to come out on top in her anger. I think it’s about making good, entertaining television.”
Wood said Whoopi “bared her front teeth like a hungry lion” as she yelled at her fellow co-hosts.
She claimed that Whoopi was “pointing her finger as if her hand was a gun.”
Wood compared The View to a talk show version of professional wrestling.
She believed that Setmayer was “sliced and diced” throughout their encounter.
The expert also claimed that Whoopi subconsciously revealed her true feelings about her co-hosts during the passionate debate.
Wood said: “Whoopi pursed her lips, glared and sat back with her shoulders set firmly and gave a final look of righteous judgment.”

She noticed that Setmayer was making the same movements, and when she agreed with Whoopi, she chopped her hands towards her co-host.
Wood said: “And Whoopi, with one foot on the ground and the other foot back ready to take action, put up both her hands in a stop position to close down any talking from Tara even though she said she actually agreed with her.”
