TCS shares dropped 4.6% to ₹3,113.25 on Monday, leading the tumble in IT stocks. HCL Technologies, Nucleus Software, Persistent Systems, Zensar Technologies, and Coforge fell 3-4%. Infosys fell 2.7%, Tech Mahindra fell nearly 2% and Wipro fell 1.9%. The NSE IT Index dropped 3.1%, while the Nifty ended almost unchanged over Friday.
