I was on Love Island and producers tried to get rid of me in an elimination when I fell ill
A FORMER Love Island star has claimed producers tried to get rid of him in an elimination when he fell ill during his time in the villa.
Niall Aslam left fans stunned in 2018 when he quit Love Island just seven days after series four kicked off.
It was later revealed he was forced to leave due to health problems and now Niall has insisted bosses wanted to cover up his exit with a dumping.
In a video posted on TikTok, he said: “The producer element [of the show] is so heavy sometimes that I believe it might as well be scripted.
“Instead of getting rid of me for ‘personal reasons’ they wanted to actually get rid of me as an elimination so it was less suspicious.
“If that doesn’t prove how heavy the manipulation can I be I don’t know what does.”

Niall also shared a shot of a document with the words “duty of care report”.
It said: “…if he does not settle in the next 24 hours he is probably better off out… hopefully this can be done smoothly at the next boy exit.”
The Sun has approached reps for Love Island for comment.
After his shock exit Niall posted an emotional statement on Instagram which addressed having Asperger syndrome and why he left Love Island.
He said: “Right, so here it goes…for this post I am putting my laying it on thick brush down and hoping to hit the nation with a love potion.

“I always felt that people didn’t understand me, yet I was afraid to reveal my true scales as I did not want the label or stigma that was attached to it.”
