This is actually the lowest price ever for Apple’s AirPods.
An Amazon price tracker shows that the AirPods have only been sold for £99 a handful of times before – and never for less.
The original Apple AirPods launched in December 2016, and were mocked by many at the time.
But they’ve since become a beloved and fashionable gadget that has widely popularised wireless earphones.

The original model has been discontinued and the Apple AirPods 2 were launched in March 2019.
Typically, they’d retail at £110 – and were £159 when they launched in 2019.
These AirPods have the quintessential headphone design we’ve all come to recognise.
They’re totally wireless, and have a snug fit for most ears.
You can control playback (and even your phone) using built-in Siri functionality.
And there are tap features on the sides of the earbuds so that you can play or skip songs, or answer a phone call.
You get up to five hours of music playback per charge – or three hours of talk time.
And the bundled charging case means you can keep the earbuds topped up while you’re out and about.
Optical sensors built into the earbuds let the AirPods know when they’re in your ear.
This allows them to automatically pause music playback when you pop one bud out for a quick chat.
