Hannah Flippen and Taylor Pleasants homered in tonight’s USA win over Canada, 10-2, to close Group A at The World Games. Dejah Mulipola drove in three for the US squad.
Mulipola put USA in front with a two-run single in the second inning. An inning later, the home team added three on an RBI single by Charla Echols, a bases loaded hit by pitch and a defensive error.
Canada’s only two runs came in the fourth inning, thanks to a two-run home run by Kianna Jones to left field.

With this win, USA ends undefeated Group A and tomorrow will face Australia in the tournament’s semi final. Canada (1-2) finished in third place of the group and will play for the fifth place.
