Chilling last words of mom who disappeared with her family on camping trip after they were all seen at Walmart

A WOMAN who went on a camping trip with her ex-boyfriend and daughter reportedly told her mom that she would be fine before disappearing without a trace.

Nicholas Hansen, 38, asked Jill Sidebotham, 28, and their child Lydia, two, to go on the trip on June 27 – days before they were last seen at a Walmart store in Maine.

Jill’s mom warned her daughter not to go on the camping, according to a family Facebook post.

Ron Sidebotham told the Boston Globe: “My wife said she tried to stop her but [Jill] said it would be fine.”

Jill and her daughter were supposed to return on June 30, but they didn’t.

Her phone has been turned off since June 28, and Hansen has had no signal since June 29.

Hansen’s sister Kris Martin, 44, told the Globe that she’s worried Lydia is alone.

Corey Alexander, who has been dating Jill for more than three years, said the trip was “unexpected and makes zero sense”.

He posted in a Facebook group dedicated to the case: “Our relationship is perfect and has a strong foundation.

“She never hid anything from me. So the fact that she said nothing and just up and left without a word is very out of place and not like her.

“We have never hid anything from each other. Our bond has been unbreakable.”

Alexander told the Globe that he knew something was wrong when she didn’t reply to his texts on July 1.

He said: “I knew something was wrong, something in my gut was just telling me that this isn’t right.”

Ron revealed that Jill’s son Brayden Sidebotham Farmer, 10, is reportedly only one step from breaking down.

He told DailyMail.com: “He’s such a good boy, for him to be snapping like he has the past couple of days is out of character for him.”

Sidebotham, Hansen, and Lydia were last seen in the supermarket on July 2.

Sanford Police Lt. Matthew Gagné said cops are looking for them.

But, he didn’t have any indication that they were in danger.

Gagné said: “They were buying food items, and there did not appear to be anything nefarious or criminal.”

Cops said they’re driving a silver 2005 Volkswagen Jetta ME.

The vehicle has a black rear bumper.
