JACQUES O’Neill has sensationally decided to leave the Love Island villa – and die-hard fans of the show think they know why.

The rugby player – who is the ex of Gemma Owen – made the decision to exit the ITV2 dating show, just hours after former star Adam Collard entered the villa.

Adam – who featured in the fourth series – made a spectacular entrance on Monday night, much to the delight of the squealing girls.

In a first for the show, he came back for round two, hoping to find love after previously dating Zara McDermott following his appearance on the show in 2018.

In a first look at tonight’s dramatic episode, Jacques is seen rowing with the former troublemaker as it appeared he had started to turn the head of Paige Thorne.

Earlier today, it was revealed that Jacques had walked away from the series.

And fans think they know the reason behind his exit – with the majority predicting that he and Adam become embroiled in a fist fight.

Alongside an array of shocked-faced emojis, one person penned: “People are wondering why Jacques quit the Love Island villa, but it’s obvious. He clearly had a fight with Adam.”

Echoing their comments, someone else said: “Is it just me that thinks that Jacques quit the villa after having a fight with Adam?”

While a third questioned: “What if Jacques was forced to quit the villa after starting a fight with Adam? Seems plausible enough.”

Jacques has become the second to leave after Liam Llewellyn decided he would be leaving the show after just a few days.

Paige can be seen crying as Jacques appears to be beginning to explain why he plans to walk from the villa.

A Love Island spokesperson confirmed that he had walked away from the villa following his clash with Adam.

“Jacques has made the decision to leave the villa,” the representative said.

“He will explain his reasons to the Islanders during tonight’s episode.

“We fully support his decision and look forward to seeing what’s next for Jacques.”
