Samia Longchambon looks worlds away from her Coronation Street’s Maria after glam makeover
CORONATION Street star Samia Longchambon shared a look at her idyllic weekend break after being surprised by her husband.
The actress, who plays Maria Windass in the ITV soap, was treated by her other half Sylvain Longchambon ahead of celebrating her milestone birthday this week.
She surprised her thousands of Instagram followers by revealing she enjoyed the getaway as part of her 40th birthday celebrations, which officially take place on Wednesday, July 13.
“The last weekend of my 30s has been well spent,” she wrote alongside a montage of moments from her time in what appeared to be a fully-equipped treehouse.
Sylvain, who Samia met while taking part in Dancing On Ice in 2013, was seen pouring his wife a glass of champagne.
The pair were seen standing on the balcony of their temporary home in the middle of a secluded forest.

The loved-up pair, who have been married since 2016 and share six-year-old son Yves, were then seen in a series of selfies as they soaked up the sun during their picture-perfect couple of days away.
The video ended with a picture of Eccles-born Samia smiling for the camera with a glass of wine, sat outside in the garden of what looked like a country manor.
But it was Samia’s age that caught her fans’ attention thanks to her ageless looks.
Alongside an array of red love heart emojis, one person penned: “How can you be 40? You will always be 35 to me.”
Echoing their comments, someone else said: “Samia, you look absolutely incredible. Simply stunning for your age.”

While a third remarked: “Looks like you’ve had a lovely birthday beautiful! Beautiful pictures, too.”
The actress previously said she believed her later father, who sadly died of cancer in 2009, was responsible for helping her find love with the French ice dancer.
During an appearance on Loose Women, she said: “I believe in angels and I always think my dad sent Sylvain to me.”
