Kim Kardashian accused of encouraging kids to go ‘too far’ after she reveals daughter North’s ‘extreme’ prank
KIM Kardashian has received backlash over her parenting style after she revealed the details of her daughter, North’s elaborate prank.
The reality star opened up about her eldest child’s antics in an interview with Allure.
Kim recalled a story to the publication involving the 9-year-old’s hobby of doing special effects makeup.
She explained: “North is really into special effects makeup, and she’s really good at it, so I have a teacher come and show her special effects makeup where it’s like wounds and blood and tons of stuff.”
The SKIMS founder, however, didn’t realize how talented her daughter was at applying the gory makeup until North showed off her skills at a house rental.
“She decided not only to prank me and do [the makeup] on her and [her little sister] Chicago, but she made the whole room look like a murder scene,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum said.

Kim didn’t think much about the redecorating as she washed the kids and put them to bed without cleaning the room.
This resulted in a scary scene witnessed by the housekeeper the following day, who nearly called the cops thinking she had walked into a real crime scene.
“The housekeeper came and tried to call the authorities and called the homeowner thinking that it was a full, real murder scene,” the beauty mogul confessed.
“I had to let them know that it was completely just a prank, and my kids were doing special effects makeup. It was bad,” she added.

Fans, however, did not find the story entertaining, as social media users slammed the mom-of-four for encouraging her daughter’s high jinks.
One concerned fan responded to the article by tweeting: “Umm, not normal.”
Another thought Kim shouldn’t be so supportive of the pre-teen’s unusual interest, writing: “And messed up a rental house. Sounds like this obsession with blood and horror may be going too far. But Mom is encouraging it.”
A third applauded North’s creativity, commenting: “I actually love this.”
Kim shares North and her three other children, Saint, six; Chicago, four; and Psalm, three, with her ex-husband, Kanye West, 45.
The elementary school student has routinely showed off her skills with special effects makeup on the joint TikTok account she shares with her mother.
In December, North posted a video of herself with makeup covering her mouth, making her lips look invisible.
The following day, she shared a TikTok with her mother, where the duo seemingly were taking off their gruesome makeup, though the video showed the action in reverse.
FASHION WEEK
Kim was recently slammed over her treatment of her firstborn child as the mother-daughter duo attended Paris Fashion Week.
The model shared a batch of snaps of the pair on Instagram.
In one pic, the two posed near a doorway as Kim donned a skintight bodysuit while North rocked an oversized jacket and black boots.
Other photos captured the mom and daughter smiling for the camera in different outfits, including Kim in a camouflage top and neon green pants and North in a blue jacket with matching shades.
While the remaining pics simply have Kim in various looks during the popular fashion week.
The Kardashians star captioned the set of snaps with an emoji of the national flag of France.
However, not everyone was about the post as one user took to an online thread and wrote: “Kim posting pics of her daughter after North asked people to stop taking pics of her…”
Another chimed in: “What is North wearing… she is a kid.”
The post comes just a day after Kim was accused of being a bad parent.
NORTH’S PLEA
The TV star received plenty of furious pushback after Kim shared a clip of North seated next to her famous mom at the Jean Paul Gaultier show alongside Anna Wintour.
In the short video, North held up a handwritten sign with “STOP” written in all caps.
The 41-year-old made light of the situation in her caption.
She wrote: “For anyone who knows North knows how funny she finds the last slide!
“North I guess had it with the people taking pictures of her so she wrote on her invite ‘STOP’ and held it up and wanted them to just focus on the show…”
However, not all fans thought the sign was as funny as Kim and felt North was clearly uncomfortable.
“I feel bad for North. This is not okay and Kim should put a stop to that,” wrote one fan.
Another suggested: “She should point that sign at her mother, the person who drags her to these events as a prop.”
“Poor kid. Now we know she keeps a pen handy in those little purses she carries,” one user chimed in.
‘HOW SAD’
Kim later deleted the post and uploaded it once more, this time adding a new message.
She wrote: “Ummm, I didn’t realize until afterwards but North I guess had it with the people taking pictures of her so she wrote on her invite ‘STOP’ and held it up to the people taking pics and wanted them to just focus on the show.”
Despite the update, one fan reacted: “How sad that she takes it as a joke.”

Kim also received flack for throwing North a wilderness-themed birthday party, including bows and arrows, and providing transportation on her $150million private jet.
