Senate stands adjourned

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #975, Michael S. Barr, of Michigan, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for the unexpired term of fourteen years from February 1, 2018, post-cloture.
At approximately 11:30am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Barr nomination. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #976, Michael S. Barr, of Michigan, to be Vice Chairman for Supervision of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years.
If cloture is invoked, at approximately 2:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the (second) Barr nomination and on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #676 Owen Edward Herrnstadt, of Maryland, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
Additional roll call votes are expected during Wednesday’s session.
Cloture has been filed on the following nominations:
1. Executive Calendar #975 Michael S. Barr, of Michigan, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for the unexpired term of fourteen years from February 1, 2018.
2. Executive Calendar #976 Michael S. Barr, of Michigan, to be Vice Chairman for Supervision of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years.
3. Executive Calendar #676 Owen Edward Herrnstadt, of Maryland, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.
4. Executive Calendar #908 Kate Elizabeth Heinzelman, of New York, to be General Counsel of the Central Intelligence Agency.
5. Executive Calendar #968 Julianna Michelle Childs, of South Carolina, to be United States Circuit Judge for the District of Columbia Circuit.
