Four Injured After Car Collides with a Tree in Northeastern Afghanistan

Four people were injured when the car they were in crashed into a tree in Afghanistan’s northeastern province, Takhar, according to Taliban officials.

According to the Taliban officials in the province, the passengers of a Toyota Corolla-type vehicle were injured after the car collided with a tree in the province’s Rustaq district.

The injured, consistent with the security officials, were transported to a nearby hospital. The health officials say one of the injured is in critical condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Another traffic accident in Bamyan province, in central Afghanistan, has killed two and injured four other people, during the Eid-ul-Adha days.

The number of reports of traffic accidents has increased over the past few months, in Afghanistan.

The primary causes for the increasing traffic accidents in Afghanistan include driver negligence, damaged roads, a lack of traffic signals, and disregard for the posted speed limit.
