I’m an organizing pro – my fave Ikea buy is a lifesaver in tiny kitchens
IF your kitchen feels crowded with just you in it, you’re probably making use of a small space.
One organizing expert found two items that help utilize limited countertop space.
Cooking any meal is increasingly difficult when there isn’t much room to prep food.
TikTok’s hack expert Marilyn Rivera knows this all too well.
In a recent video, Marilyn takes viewers along with her while she buys two items that are great for small kitchens.
Both items together only cost $17.98.
Marilyn goes to Ikea for her kitchen essentials.
The first item on the list is a cutting board.
Marilyn grabs the STOLTHET bamboo board that has stilts on two sides and is $14.99.
Not only is it stable enough to cut meat, but if you need to store it on top of the counter, you can place cookware on top of it and underneath it.

In addition, she buys a set of three plastic containers.
These are called the UPPFYLLD preparation bowls and they’re only $2.99 for the whole pack.
The bowls can only be hand washed, as well as the cutting board.
Marilyn places the bowls on the corners of the cutting board.
“The cutting board has stilts on it, so it allows me to cut my vegetables and slide them into these small bowls,” she says.
Viewers commented on Marilyn’s post with their tips for care of these items.
