Eagle-eyed Love Island fan spots blunder as show ‘edits Jacques out of scenes
AN EAGLE-EYED Love Island fan has spotted an editing blunder after noticing the cast wearing the same clothes across two episodes.
A scene from episode 37 appeared in last night’s show – with the viewer insisting it scrambling producers made the error as a result of Jacques O’Neill quitting.
The sofa detective penned on Twitter: “Has the Jacques situation prompted some strange editing?
“I noticed Tasha, Indiyah, Andrew and Dami are sporting the same swimwear they had on at breakfast on the daybed yesterday.”
Jacques, who was paired up with Paige Thorne, made the surprising announcement to quit after an eventful few days.
His exit from the villa was a shock to many after he had seemingly made up with Paige after their Casa Amor drama.
It followed the return of bombshell Adam Collard from series four who has appeared to turn Paige’s head.

Ex Love Islanders have also come forward to say they believe editors were forced to cut dramatic scenes with Jacques which may have led to him leaving the show.
Following Jacques’ departure, Biggs – who appeared on the sixth season of Love Island in 2020 – thinks he was pulled out to save his mental health.
“There’s way more to Jacques leaving than was shown on the show,” Biggs exclusively told The Sun.
Speculating, he then revealed: “I think he was advised to leave by producers.
“He either did something to Adam – possibly even physical – or maybe his family or management pulled him out before he did something crazy.
“I definitely think they forced him to leave and covered it up. It’s Love Island, they have to protect their contestants.”

Series seven star Faye Winter speculated there was something fans hadn’t seen on screen.
She also revealed that there is a process to go through before leaving the ITV2 series.
She told The Sun: “He’ll have spoken to welfare and executive producers and the producers in the villa.
“Leaving the show isn’t as easy as just saying ‘I’m leaving’.
“You have to take the time to consider leaving. He’s obviously not feeling his best.”
Jacques left the hit ITV2 reality show in emotional scenes that saw him breaking down in tears along with many other viewers.
The sobbing lad told his co-stars: “Lately, I just can’t be myself. I’m trying my best – but I’m not a fake person.”

A spokesman announced: “Jacques has made the decision to leave the villa.
“He will explain his reasons to the Islanders during tonight’s episode.
“We fully support his decision and look forward to seeing what’s next for Jacques.”
