Love Island fans horrified as Luca Bish tells Gemma Owen he loves her just week after meeting

GEMMA Owen and Luca Bish finally brought some love to Love Island by uttering those three little words.

In emotional scenes, Luca hinted at his devotion to ex-footie ace Michael Owen’s daughter in a recoupling speech.

Then up on the terrace, he said: “Today has been the best day in the villa. I wouldn’t want it with anyone else.”

He and Gemma then confessed: “I love you.”

Their declaration of love for one another soon sent Twitter into a freny, with many of them airing their thoughts on the moment.

Alongside an array of shocked-faced emojis, one person penned: “Did Luca really just tell Gemma that he loves her? Bit weird.”

Echoing their comments, someone else said: “Imagine knowing someone for a few weeks and then telling them that you love them.”

While a third remarked: “Luca and Gemma are in love – who knew? You’ve known each other for a few weeks, chill out.”

On Wednesday night, the pair were treated to a romantic beach date and Luca was thrilled to have some time alone with Gemma.

As they arrived at the date location, the conversation soon turned to the future, with Luca making a joke about him proposing to Gemma.

“I feel like I’m going to propose,” he said as he noted the beautiful decorations that have been laid out for their day together.

“I love listening to your conversations with the lads because I’m sat there literally wetting myself,” she said.

Some fans, however, aren’t so convinced by their connection, with some claiming that Gemma is putting on a front.

“Oh, Luca. Gemma really isn’t that into you,” said one, before adding: “Her body language gives that away.”

Another added: “I don’t know how Luca can’t tell that Gemma doesn’t like him as much as he likes her.”
