[MSC] Mid-South Conference 2021-22 Awards Announced

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Mid-South Conference announced its 2021-22 award winners on Thursday.

 Female Student-Athlete of the Year

 Thomas More's (Ky.) Emily Mohs is the 2021-22 MSC Female Student-Athlete of the Year.

This past season, Mohs was named the MSC Women's Volleyball Player of the Year for the first time in her career. Mohs recorded 545 kills this past season which ranked third in the NAIA and also ranked third in kills per set.  She earned MSC Attacker of the Week honors five times this season and was named the NAIA Attacker of the Week three times.

In her career, Mohs earned All-MSC First Team honors three times in her career. She earned NAIA AVCA All-Region honors three times and was the Southeast Region Player of the Year this past season and earned two NAIA All-American honors. Mohs eclipsed the 1,000 career kill milestone in her junior year.

Mohs graduated with a 3.78 grade point average majoring in nursing. She earned Academic All MSC honors three times in her career and NAIA Scholar Athlete honors twice. Mohs earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors twice.
