Re: BSH: The Great Wall of Silence
Dirty BertieIf, as has been reported, it is ORI that Richardson and Lopez have or are purchasing then there is nothing for BHSL to announce as there's no change to the share ownership of BHSL.
If, however, there is an agreement in place for the future sale of BHSL shares in BCFC then that would surely require an announcement to HKSE as that shareholding is their major asset.
You're wrong mate, because they've already made one announcement about the possibility of ORI being sold. It's what's called a "connected transaction" - because both the thing being sold is owned partially by BSH and the guy selling it is a shareholder in BSH.
Furthermore, if what Richardson told me about him negotiating away the recompense losses clause, the sale of ORI will drastically affect the profit and loss figures for BSH because of that clause being taken away and shareholders need to told of this as it should affect their decision to invest in the company's shares or not.
