LB / CDM & missing players (29 replies)

I cant believe we still havent signed a left back/LWB .. Leko will get absolutely murdered in this position next season if we go with him.

Has Bela found a club yet? Maybe put something sensible on the table for him as Doesnt look like any more incoming before the season starts,

Dont know much about Trusty but may have to play him LWB, Move colin into CB and play Graham RWB. We are then playing 3 players out of their natural positions. Not clever.

Midfield 3 are also a worry. Bacuna is the first name on the teamsheet for me, Woods seems to be key in what eustace wants to do, but without a ball winner next to them we will get steamrolled in the midfield.

Early days but Placheta looks a downgrade on Hernandez. We are much weaker than the squad that finished the season (and they werent good enough)

Eustace has mentioned Juke and Friend are close but there was no talk of.. Nico Gordon, Gards, Stirk (who wasnt in the squad for cheltenham pre season)
